On Thursday 30 April, NYCOS singers and staff across the country joined with members of Music Education Partnership Group (MEPG) in singing Over the Rainbow in support of the NHS and all keyworkers. National Youth Choir of Scotland member Holly Jarvis was honoured to lead the tuition of the song online for participants while some NYCOS Regional Choir members were shown on STV News. NYCOS is very proud of all our young singers playing such a positive role in the current crisis.
Holly is ready! Are you? In 24 hours NYCOS members across the country will be joining with members of @MusicEducatio10 in the Over the Rainbow Project in support of the NHS and all keyworkers. #wmmrainbow ?

Was lovely joining members of @NYCOS_ED & @NYCoS_PBC to sing #SomewhereOverTheRainbow, knowing that hundreds of other people across Scotland were singing it at the same time for our Carers.
A huge thank you to @MusicEducatio10 and @NYCOScotland for organising #wmmrainbow ?❤️ pic.twitter.com/ndGHYP7tgw— Mr F ?????????♂️ (@mrfeistsclass) April 30, 2020
